Our four locations in the greater Miami area offer Dental Implants and Dental Implant restoration.
Types of Dental Implants available:
Teeth in a Day:
Teeth in a Day or (All on 4) is an implant process that provides patient’s implants in just one appointment. Our skilled doctors can place the implants quickly while the patient is sedated. All of our locations are equipped with a lab making this an easy process.
This option provides four implants that are strategically placed in the top and bottom of your mouth. Implants are not needed for each tooth to give patients the smile they desire, making this an easy process.
Implants are strong and reliable, and are built to last for years. Dental implants fuse to the bone as they heal making them extremely stable, and in some cases can withstand more pressure than natural teeth. Temporary crowns may be used, and once the healing process is complete, patients can return to have the permanent crowns installed.
Part of the evaluation process will include a detailed consultation and x-rays, to determine if you are a good candidate for this option.
Benefits of Teeth in a Day:
- Quick tooth restoration in one day.
- Prevents future bone loss in the jaw.
- Implants are comfortable and there is no slipping or clicking.
- Healing time is reduced compared to other options.
Traditional Dental Implants:
Traditional dental implants are also offered at all four of our Centers for Dental Implant locations. The process for traditional implants is similar to teeth in a day, and includes the same long lasting results.
Typically traditional dental implants include two steps. The first step is to place the titanium implants in the jawbone. There is a healing process that occurs after the placement to allow the jawbone to fuse around the implant. This first healing process can take a few months and once complete the jawbone will provide a strong base of support.
Next, an abutment or connector will be placed on top of the implant, and this allows the crown or artificial tooth to be installed on top. If there is not enough bone present in the jaw to support the implants, bone grafting can be done to provide that additional support.
Customized crowns are made to match the shape, size, and color of your natural teeth. Dental implants are a strong and reliable tooth restoration solution for patients in need of tooth replacement.
Overall, the healing process from start to finish can take anywhere between four to six months and multiple appointments are necessary.
